I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics at Emory University, a Fellow of the Emory Center for AI Learning, and Director of the Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design (BERD) program for the Georgia Clinical and Translational Science Alliance. Prior to joining Emory in 2023, I held a faculty appointment at the Colorado School of Public Health. I received my PhD in Biostatistics from Columbia University in 2019 and my BA in Chemistry from Swarthmore College in 2010.

My research focuses on developing statistical methods and computational tools for complex biomedical data, with particular emphasis on functional data analysis. My work spans digital health and wearable technologies, biomedical imaging, and spatial biology, and is motivated by methodological challenges arising from interdisciplinary biomedical research. I also develop open-source statistical software to make these methods accessible to the broader research community and facilitate reproducibility.
